The people and purpose behind the food
Lowcountry Creamery is a Bowman, South Carolina dairy and creamery producing whole milk, chocolate milk, cultured buttermilk, Greek yogurt, whole-milk yogurt and crème fraîche from an all-Jersey herd. Dairy operations were restarted in 2010 and creamery sales launched in 2015.
Families can find the products through a network of Lowcountry retailers and seasonal farmers markets. Farm Allegiance does not list butter as a current product unless the creamery confirms it, even though butter is commonly assumed to be made by dairies.
